Hopefully this one actually passes, the last two that were introduced that I know of died in the transportation committee.

cemetery is full of people who had the right of way.

people who cut you off are already attempting murder, what’s 1 more law going to do to stop them?

It’s not about stopping them, it’s about not getting in trouble with the law moving up to the front of the intersection, especially when it’s triple digit temps.

Unfortunately very true. And personally I’ll continue to filter when it’s safer to do so regardless it passing or not. It could lead to more riders taking advantage of more opportunities to avoid dangers however, and take away chances of fines from police. Plus it becoming more common could lead to drivers being more aware of riders as well.

Splitting is different from filtering. but even then I’ve heard of Americans opening doors on people. Worst place on the planet to be a rider.

Luckily I haven’t had to deal with any doors, just drivers steering their cars into my path at most (knock on weird). I’m patient though and can around them if I have to.
