(Unless the pieces are supposed to be freeze-dried.) I wonder if you can use some peach flavor or peach syrup to sweeten the cooked oatmeal. Or even take the apple, soak it in peach juice, then dehydrate. Interesting thing to think about, but when it comes to things like this I just tend to buy whatever it is.

I’m thinking of soaking them in peach flavouring, letting it air dry for a couple of days, and seeing what happens.
Can you cut apples that small?
