FEMA is one of the larger subsidies of blue states to red states. Hurricanes are not going to be slowed down. Was an extremely weird reaction to blame FEMA for catastrophic hurricane flooding that reached Appalachia. I guess alternative was to conclude that global warming was out of control… and there needed to be an alternative.
