Personally: I don’t trust them to make a laptop, so I definitely don’t trust them to make an ebike.
Fully agreed. Every Acer laptop I’ve had or been issued by an employer has been a POS and usually underperforms everything else in its market segment. Now Acer think people will be willing to trust their lives to a company that doesn’t normally build bikes?! Hard pass.
Would they ask me to update my driver when i couldn’t brake well?
No, they just want you to subscribe to Norton Antivirus or McAffee or some bullshit.
I really wanted it to be an RGB e-bike and now I’m disappointed. It’s annoying on my laptop but I bet it would be great for visibility on an e-bike.
Looks similar to the Juiced Ripracer, which is a phenomenal ebike for city use, particularly if you have a small apartment. The smaller battery and weird saddle kinda make this one less attractive, but there’s definitely a market for small, BMX-y ebikes. Mine could easily fit behind my (440 Sqft apartment) door
