Any tips for an aspiring CTI analyst? I’m looking at the CREST threat intelligence cert which is relatively affordable. I have a bachelor in cybersecurity and was an intelligence operator in the military reserve for just under 2 years. I’m also doing a lot of self study courses and staying up to date with the relevant news of the day. Should I get red & blue team certs? I have the EC council CCT exam next week (not the best but it was fully funded) and I’ve been studying for TCM securities pen testing cert. I figure I should be a competent enough purple teamer so I solidly understand the context of how my research fits in.

Also any tips for freelance research and getting some articles published to gain some credibility? I am on different hacking forums and threat actors telegrams and such so I see a lot of stuff go down but I’m not sure what novel or atleast valuable to somebody research/write ups I can put out on my own initiative. Tia!
