    My wife likes big story games (Witcher 3, Horizon, etc.) but hates the combat … So, back when we still had time for games like that, I would do all the gameplay and she would make all story or dialogue decisions. It was a nice paradigm that let us both enjoy the parts that most interested us.

      I absolutely hate Hanafuda cards and rhythm games, so when they pop up in a random game (e.g. Yakuza series), I have my SO play them, because they love those games. Works out well for us.

        You and my wife would probably enjoy playing those games together.

        I’ve been wanting to try the Yakuza series with her, but I suspect it would be a hard sell.
