He seems to be approaching the situation with a level head. Hopefully he’s able to mesh with the engineers quickly and provide feedback that helps them get the car in the window it needs to be in to perform. It really sounds like setup is everything on this year’s cars.

I hope he can tread water while they figure it out but it sure sounds like the spent years designing something that works for exactly one driver.
