I was just reading about this. He still has two lawyers.
Trump and his lawyers were looking for lawyers that actually have trial experience with this matter. But they couldn’t find any that were willing or able to, they also specifically wanted one that would be able to deal with protected information. But none of the lawyers willing to work with them were able to obtain a security clearance.
Considering I don’t think he has a lawyer (and certainly none actually competent), any defense is likely to be wild.
