ā€œIā€™m trying to educate people about Palestine through social media, but Iā€™m worried Iā€™ll lose my security clearance for criticizing the president or blaming the U.S. for civilian massacre,ā€ they told HuffPost. ā€œI feel like thereā€™s no place for me in America anymore, and Iā€™m on thin ice with my clearance because of my heritage and because I care about my people dying.ā€

The seemingly stifled internal debate undercuts Bidenā€™s narrative that his administration is historically diverse and open to perspectives from traditionally marginalized groups, including on questions of global affairs.

    If you arenā€™t willing to incur risk to yourself, you are destined to become one the multitudes in a future governmental position where you are just another complacent liberal to the latest atrocities committed by our government or others.
