It’s not like 3d modelers have any way to make something look like it’s genuinely having fun shooting people in the middle of what’s supposed to be a park (complete with innocent bystanders in the cross-fire) without resorting to hand-drawn content.

I’ve heard people using anime avatars talk about styles from all sorts of platforms not being appealing. It’s more of a joke about the anime bias the metaverse has.
It’s rare for me to look at something and confidently say it looks soulless, but that’s the sad truth of the image.
