Thank you so much! Wanna hear a secret? I am NOT an artist XD Im actually REALLY bad at graphical art like pixel art, but I was able to kind of cheese it in a way. When you load up Blockbench with the “New Minecraft Skin” thing, it makes a default example skin texture as an example.
Because of the low resolution of the texture, pixels are very noticeable, and from there, I just played with the brushes and gradients in different shades of brown for the fur and hair, and then I drew the clothes on top over my “fur” base.
I wish I had known about blockbench when I played, would’ve made my experience of designing skins so much easier rather than using paint.net to do it manually.
