True. Risk of Rain Returns is amazing. But back when they announced ROR2 and that it would be a 3D environment I was like “how the heck is that going to work?” but they pulled it off. Clocked over 200 hours in that one (so far - haven’t even tried the DLC yet)
no doubt it is damned fine, and a worthy carrier of the name… but… 1 is still better. tighter. faster loop. I dunno all the ways to enumerate it but holy hell, it’s just near perfect.

I like them both but I enjoy ror2 more… Unless it’s on my steam deck. Then I enjoy rorr more
