Hey monotheistic #religious people, does your conception of #God ever give you an emotional feeling of safety? I’m asking specifically about the psychological effect here.

If you consider the sheer size difference between me and God, it’s quite likely that they might step on me or flush me down the drain (metaphorically speaking, of course) without even noticing.
Also, I believe God is like a jazz musician - making it up as they go along. There is no Divine Plan - not even a declaration of intent.
In the words of David Bowie: “God’s a young man too”.
(It’s a bit more complex than that, but this is as much as you’ll get in a toot)
