I want to play it, I’m just saving it for last since I’ve heard so many times about Sekiro being the best, the hardest and the only game that feels like your first Soulsborneringwhatever again. I missed a lot of From games due to not being able to afford a console/gaming pc and only got back into them with Elden Ring. Since then I’ve been slowly playing all the ones I missed and some similar games like Nioh.
I’ve played most From games, with the notable exception of Sekiro. That guy is the only thing I ever parried.
I’ve played them all and might be the worst parry-er on earth. I can also parry Gwyn.
God I love parrying in the first dark souls, it’s so intuitive and easy. It’s just not the same in later titles, even using the buckler.
Really? Starting ds1 after sekiro, the parry feels really clunky to me.
Oh yeah compared to Sekiro it’s not that great but in DS2 and 3 it’s so much worse (imo)
What did they change? I don’t think I even equipped a shield in any other game than Dark Souls.
Sekiro is one of my favorites I highly recommend it. Probably also one of the hardest but I eventually got the platinum trophy.

I was pretty late to sekiro and dark souls 3 too . Didn’t get the platinum trophy for dark souls 3 yet .
After trying (and failed) in DS1 tutorial, I’ve never even try it again
