The momentum to actually make a stand was after that 48 hours. Some subs actually made a stand but more than enough were happy with the status quo.

The blackout started 12-06 which is 2 + weeks ago.
Lemmy and Kbin are still here and I see no sign of it slowing down. I see much more posts with more engagement which is a good thing.

I had a Z Fold 2 for 2+ years before selling it and it was a great phone overall. Didn’t feel like the technology “wasn’t there yet” but it felt like a full fledged product and the built quality was really top notch.
What i agree with is that indeed the inner screen is a gimmick or the foldable idea itself. I found myself using the inner screen mostly for streaming and using the outer screen for literally anything else. Which meant that for 95% of the time I used the outer screen.
I think the Flip series has a way better usecase for a foldable because the fold Idea reduces the size of the “normal way of use” product.
I think the Fold expands on the “normal way of use” so it is easier put it in the gimmick territory.
I still think it is better to just get an Phone + Tablet overall if you want the best of both worlds.
But to be clear, this has been my experience as having had the Z fold 2 as a daily driver for 2+ years.

WW2 in my country is a part of history that get’s the most attention during history classes. Never has it underestimated the role of the Soviets in the WW2 in defeat of the Nazi’s.
That doesn’t mean that it validates the regime that it had during those years. Don’t you have the ability to see the incidents in isolation or is your whole reasoning about this fact that because they killed the most Nazi’s that the regime and whatever they did in Eastern Europe and their own borders are OK?
It is the same reasoning people make that Hitler is also quite a good guy because he designed the Autobahn (which is Nazi propaganda) that “improved” the lives of the people of Germany.
Just because a governing body of a country did good things for their country or had tendencies to make a right choice doesn’t change the fact that they are and still can be pieces of shit.
I am spoiled haha. I had an realme x2 pro since 2018 or 19 and that was already 50watts.
Also got the Realme Gt 5G as an replacement 2 years ago which is 65 watts.
Anything below 50watts seems slow in comparison haha ;).

I agree with you. Good point to make. If the western nations were to make a stand earlier in Hitlers crusade than alot of hurt could be spared.
Even in my country there used to be enough people who were collaborating with the Nazis. We actually had a party who were actively promoting it.
My country also had the most jewish victims that were murdered by the Nazis. Three quarters of the total that lived in my country were brutally slaughtered.
It is the highest of all western nations.

I understand for me the big point is the update policy. Just 2 years of OS updates is dissapointing, same as the 30Watt max charger.
But indeed the Headphone jack and SD card functionality are such a big plus.

That because western nations are taking advantage of others that it is okay for countries to commit mass murder? That authoritarian regimes are born from western actions? Criticizing journalism is okay. Not taking everything at face value is a good practice to have.
But willfully ignoring history and everything that has been said and written about it is just still and again people purposely closing their eyes.
I still do not understand why someone would not take the time to actually read the literature and watch the footage of how hurtful these regimes have been through the years.

I am gonna make it easy.
If you are a holocaust denier, Stalin/Mao/Hitler/lenin fetishist or “defend” how they ruled their people then you are purposely keeping your eyes shut.
There is so so much literature to read and material to watch about these people that you actually have to actively dodge it to not know what they have done and some of the regimes that came from them are still doing.
Just because you are right about 1 thing doesn’t mean that it validates every single believe that you have.
There are also enough people who are not the above who were against the invasion of Iraq and already foresaw why the US went there.
But this is the thing; It is your choice to believe the above. It literally is a choice, the truth is different. It is literally a choice to close your eyes towards history and the crimes authoritarian rulers and regimes are still commiting towards their citizens.
The western world is not perfect but there is a reason people are fleeing towards western nations and not the other way around.

It’s already close to a price hike of 50+ percent.
Went out to dinner with a few friends to a Korean BBQ place; 40 euros for all you can eat per person. It was nice but the amount of food that one should eat to get to the 40 euro treshhold is insane. I think I ate for a maximum of 15 euros of food.
Other places also aggressively jacked up their prices for the exact same menu and quality (or lack of). I just cannot be arsed anymore to eat out.
The new fastfood prices are getting closer to the restaurant prices pre inflation. I don’t see any incentive to actually pay those prices for the lack of quality of the food.
I also see that the same fastfood chains ‘quietly’ implemented shrinkflation in regards of toppings or portion sizes so one gets screwed over double.
I liked to get some fastfood once or twice every 2 weeks, but I just cannot be bothered anymore.
the kicker is that for that 15 euros worth of fastfood I can get close to a weeks of selfcooked dinner.
I already see some grocery stores actually lowering the prices of certain items and aggressively put items on huge discounts.
