I like ‘em. It looks like a pretty vicious predator, yet it’s somehow still cute. I would want to pet it even if there was a risk of losing my hand in the process.
I was picturing them being like Minotaurs when I originally made them. The first version had hoofed feet.
I always do log into the game with my EA account and it recognizes me, but it seems to only pretend I’m connected and online. It says my recent creations are uploaded, but If I go look at my sporpedia page I’ll see that nothing newer than 2014 has been uploaded.
My thought process was I could download the version from EA’s client again, and if it could actually connect then I could see about manually copying over save files.
I do have the game through origin, or I guess now the EA app. I tried downloading the game through that but it unfortunately gets stuck on the preparing to download part and never progresses further than that. I haven’t looked up the fix for that yet due to general IRL stuff.
I was apart of a spore community on Reddit, but with everything happening with that site, I went looking for a spore community on the feddiverse, and I’m glad I finally found it.
First played the game 9 years ago, I recently picked it back up again, but because I’m playing through steam I have no access to the sporepedia. I’ll post pictures of my creations in the near future once I can get Imgur to behave.
I’ve been in Budullangr for a few years now. Often times when I pop into a new system and scan the planets, I’ll still see an oddly described one that peaks my curiosity and I have to go take a look.
My favorite anomalous worlds so far are the cabled planets for there background ambience, there’s something extra unsettling about that one.
