For sure not true for a lot of games. Surely all the videos before the main menu isn’t it loading the main menu? How much processing power could a menu possibly take.

It’s really easy to make a gigantic mess using git if you don’t know what you’re doing. As soon as you learn to keep your history mostly linear all those issues go away.

For anyone curious on how this sort of video is made, OK GO has a great behind the scenes for “I Won’t Let You Down”. The biggest “trick” is recording the video at a different speed than it’s played at. It gives everyone just slightly more time to hit their poses and still have it look crisp in the end result.

Ecco sells metal shoehorns that are a) cheapish b) nigh indestructible and c) long. It’s honestly surprising how massive those things are. Could club a burglar to death with one and not dent it.
If the coating is starting to flake you need to stop using them. You’re really not supposed to eat that coating.
