My handhelds of choice are the Analogue Pocket, the AYN Odin, and the Steam Deck. All three of them are awesome in their own way, and honestly I’m happy there are so many cool options nowadays for portable gaming.
It’s Texas-specific, but TexasLawHelp.org’s name and gender marker change guide has been invaluable. They have the forms available right there and tell you all the various other types of documentation you’ll need.
I buy most of my stuff via Bandcamp or Amazon Music. They’re just mp3s and I use foobar2000 to listen/manage them on the computer, but in the past I also used MusicBee and it’s just as good. I don’t really have any good recommendations for mobile apps, because I listen to my stuff on an old iPod classic that I refurbished a few years ago.
Throwing them into a big box marked “FREE” and putting that outside on the curb is probably the least amount of effort.
Other than that, donating them, selling them to a second hand bookstore, or finding a local Little Free Library and adding to their collection is your best bet.

I dropped WoT around the same spot. The story itself wasn’t bad, but if I have to read about one more person straightening their skirt or tugging their braid I was going to explode.
