Played last night, highly recommend! Really great return to form here, reminiscent of tribes 2. This actually could be a cool concept. Multiple ways to get the next key item, but some are significantly faster. Like, you could have whatever key item you need shipped, but that would take a day. Or you could go to the retail store and buy whatever, but then you have to spend money, stand in line etc. Or you can just find it in the back alley. Then it’s just a timed challenge to find the best (or most fun) route, but you always have a way to progress.

Maaan, at this point I’ll take any roller coaster. It has been way too long! It seems like whenever I’m at a location with an opportunity to ride one, no one else is interested, or fate conspires against me.

I think one thing that may help with this is letting users stay on their instance when browsing others. Right now, if I want to hop over to another instance, I can definitely link there or comment if using the appropriate channel, but actually going there makes it seem like I am signed out. Implementing features like this https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/1048 would help make the experience feel more cohesive, and encourage exploration of other instances without confusing users and accidentally encouraging sticking to one’s own instance.
