Ya I did go vertical in my last attempt, but I could only fit 24 smelters on the first floor and then got to tier 5 and unlocked more stuff which put me over the edge of needing more I needed to build a second factory or a new floor on top with more smelters and it just got super complicated for me, needing to send ore to two different spots and organizing the ingots going everywhere I needed. I also have a thing about organization, symmetry, and logic and I just could not find a “satisfactory” way to build it knowing once I unlocked a new tier, without knowing what I would need ahead of time, everything I built would probably need to be redone at some point again

I do feel for the guy, but I also feel bad for the restaurant. It’s not an easy position to be in. It seems like a pretty rare condition and it’s not like he will be carrying any sort of proof as to what the condition is let alone anyone on staff at the restaurant that could diagnose him or even say if the condition matches what he claims it to be.

If someone walked in with small pox I would hope the restaurant would eject them, but it’s not like they would be able to say if it is or isn’t small pox. It’s a no win situation for both parties involved.

I was also pretty uncensored as a kid and think I turned out fine. Watched the grudge around 13-14, shows with nudity and swearing and murder between 10-13, etc. if I didn’t like something I turned it off.

On the other hand friends of mine had helicopter parents which had even a few Disney movies on their list of banned movies. They had many issues with nightmares and bed wetting growing up, and a few mental health issues later into adulthood.

Where I am from, farmland is cheap because of restrictions that prevent development or building on the land to preserve the areas ability to produce food.

But this doesn’t prevent the building of greenhouses, since it’s considered agriculture.

This results in many hundreds of acres of perfectly fine agricultural land being dug up and covered in gravel and concrete to build greenhouses.

It would be the same for vertical farms I imagine.

I’ve built and destroyed and rebuilt everything like 5 times after unlocking new things and it just got too overwhelming the last time I felt like I had to destroy my stuff.

Perhaps due to the reasons that executed prisoners need to be injected with a suspicious cocktail of drugs. No company wants to be connected to the death of a person. Perhaps they are worried they won’t be able to supply parts and components once the news gets out about what their product does.

My back got so messed up after I turned 30.

But then I just bought a new bed and mattress and I’m good as new 😂 apparently my box spring and bed rails were just broken.

I never really understand art like this. It’s unique, and interesting, and fun to look at, but it’s really not that special unless I’m missing something.

It’s just random shapes, and a unique set up. Like cutting the apples and fruit in certain ways.

Just seems like a lot of work for something to look at for 3 seconds since there’s nothing else to it.

There is absolutely no amount of hard work that deserves that much money, absolutely none. You could run a marathon every single day for 50 years and I still wouldn’t say you deserved that much money.

My first thought was people giving birth to unplanned babies since October is 9 months after Valentine’s day.

It can be profitable if products which contain plastic are sold with an upfront fee which pays for the recycling but companies fight against that because it hurts their bottom line.

It’s been tanking for a lot longer than that

Plus you also can recognize that you are capable of doing a job for another year or two but not sign up for another 4 year contract after that. It’s not like anyone wants to sign up for a contract knowing they may have to step down before the term is up.

The caller recognized that he was wearing police clothing, how else would he identify that he’s a cop other than his uniform? They saw a black man in police uniform and assumed he was pretending to be a cop.

Ya outside of Vancouver metro area it’s not uncommon to see buses with like 4 people or less on it, sometimes no one.

I would use it more if I could do everything I needed in one bus ride there and back but you would need to take a bus to one area to do something, then a bus to a second area to do another thing, then a bus to a third area to do something else, then a bus back home.

Way too much hassle if you have multiple things to do.

For me it’s an 11 minute drive, 16 minute bike ride, or 58 minutes walk according to Google. Not sure about the bus since it doesn’t calculate time for multiple stops.

Not necessarily a vanity thing, it’s also a pain in the ass and a life long expense. Do you know how many times I’ve woken up and found my glasses fell some where and I can’t find them? Or the screws loosened and a lense fell out while I’m out doing something? And a pair of glasses can run you anywhere from $200-$800+ every few years, let alone the optometrist appointments to get your prescription updated.

Do you think your taxes would go up $17k per year if America got universal healthcare? I’m going to say probably not.

As someone who lives in a place with universal healthcare, I would like to tell these people that many people here still work.

You know, food and shelter are also good incentives.
