I hate how they try to force you into the app from the mobile website now.
No I don’t want to use your shitty app. I won’t even download it to leave a bad rating.

Man I love this comic. Glad to see it on Lemmy!
I also stopped trying. It’s impossible to have a conversation with absolutely everyone that plays games to get them to stop pre-ordering.
Gamers are also some of the worst type of people (sorry, just being honest here). They generally have very little self control and it’s almost impossible to get them to change their minds or change their habits.
I can only change my own behaviors and stop getting fucked by these AAA publishers. Once you realize that it’s ok to wait a week or so to see if the game is good, life gets much better.
The last time I set up an emulator I looked into this and it really improved things!
That makes a lot of sense.
I was tempted to go with kbin when I switched, because it just looks cleaner and better designed. I’m not sure why kbin isn’t more popular, but I’m sticking with the pack right now on lemmy.
It’s kind of a massive part of Lemmys design, so I would disagree.
We’re going to end up with duplicate instances all over the place. That’s just the reality of things. Some of them will become the more popular versions and others will be abandoned, but there’s little point to complaining about it.
I agree with all of the other regulations, but this one doesn’t seem like a good thing.
Phones with internal batteries are arguably better for a variety of different reasons. I don’t want any more flimsy phone bodies like the old androids. As long as the phone can be easily serviced, I think that is enough.
Holy shit why are these companies doing anything with Meta. This is super scary.
I don’t want anything to do with Meta, but now I can’t use pretty much any service without Meta getting my data anyway? I want off this ride.
Mastodon is hard to get into because at first you only really see what is coming from your own instance. You have to really look around and find the people and topics you want to see in your feed. It’s a much more carefully curated set of content than you get from Twitter, which just bombards you with hot takes and garbage all the time.
Pretty crazy that it takes over 17 hours just to send a signal all the way to Voyager 2.
