I don’t have any experience being a mod but I do work in a high-level position for a semi-national corporation. De-escalating people, finding solutions to sometimes complex issues and working together on a smallish team, is a few of the many things I do day to day. It’s all about the money. Clickbait titles, titles that grab your attention and get you to open the article, drive in more readers. Their sites are plastered with video ads, more traditional ads and the increasingly popular ‘please support us! We’re poor! Turn off your ad blocker or just go I guess’. The length of articles means you stay on the page longer and see more ads.

Thank you for the chance and the information. I’ve tried creating an account under two different email providers (same username) and I’ve received the same error: email_send_failed. I’ve tried a few hours apart but no luck. I’ve also tried two separate browsers, clearing cookies/cache/history in both as well.
