  • Labour didn’t do anything about back then because it was not an issue.

Data farming is a fairly recent abuse. The Tories have just pushed two laws: one was the right to view any bank accounts that are receiving benefits and the other is the right to send spam mail out while campaigning. The first is an abuse towards those without money, as well as a data farming action. The second is what the Cambridge Analytica scandal was about.

This is very much a Tory driven initiative. Labour probably won’t address the issue because it is not visibly destructive. Everything will be about appearance when they come to power. Anything that the Tory media can get hold of to stain the Labour government will be pushed front and centre. Much like the beergate campaign was.

Then Trump’s lawyer should stop trying to stall the court dates. All could be sorted if they just went to court and made their case. Instead they keep using stupid stalling tactics in an attempt to push the verdict beyond the election time. All so Trump can pardon himself and avoid the issue of having to face up to his actions.

  • No, I am saying that veering from the action of simply walking as you normally would is viewed with suspicion, because they have no idea where you have gone. Dropping further back and moving out of view, only to find you come back into view later on, can make somebody who feels threatened even more so. There is no correct action to alleviate the issue.

I should also that this is not a situation I find myself in these days. I don’t work shifts anymore, so rarely find that I am walking home in the dark. It was something that was quite common in my younger days. Mainly due to where I lived at the time and the fact I was not a car driver.
