The things I currently selfhost are:

    • Grafana (Graph server stats)
    • Forgejo (Personal git forge)
    • Stirling pdf (PDF manipulation)
    • Synapse
    • NPM (proxy manager)
    • Immich (Image backup and storage)
    • Jellyfin (Media streaming)
    • Speedtest tracker
    • MC server

Always searching for other interesting and useful things to selfhost 😅 For Matrix I’m currently using the Element client, what is your experience with Cinny? Would you recommend it?

Close but not exactly, your body is capable of freely switching between fat or carb burning. When your body really thinks it’s starving, it will start “eating” your muscles instead.

Fat burning gives steady supply of energy instead of the highs and lows of energy dense carbs. You feel this the hardest after lunch, on carbs you’ll often feel tired and sluggish. You don’t have this on keto.

Switching into keto can be a miserable experience though, so you’re right about that. Once in keto it’s chill.

Benefit of Matrix is that it offers bridging chat to and from other chat applications. It eases transitioning to it as you can have all your chats in one place.

Got my hands on an old HP Proliant DL385P Gen8, on it I got running:

    • Jellyfin
    • qbittorrent
    • Homepage
    • Grafana
    • Prometheus
    • Minecraft server
    • Pihole
    • Some private projects (Angular, PostgreSQL, …)

Most of them are running in Docker containers. Am still looking for things to add, Lemmy could be interesting although I don’t have any communities in mind to host.
