So. Cute. How old are they?

“Foreign” languages communities aren’t big enough on Lemmy for people to only post in them. Most people will post in English too.
I don’t know, I only have an instagram account so I can open posts/pics that sometimes are linked on a blog or website, and to look at that one cat account I follow when I log in once in a blue moon. No post of my own, no phone app. I don’t believe Meta knows a lot on me just via that. I wouldn’t want to lose the account just because I refuse Threads’ business model though.
updoots < chuckles
r/pettyrevenge was also private for one hour lmao
Maybe add a link to join-lemmy.org . The documentation there is quite helpful for newcomers to understand how it works and where to sign up.
Of course I’m staying. I’ll also stay on reddit until June 30th, after which I guess I’m only coming back on computer once in a while to check the more niche subs. I’m also thinking of using that time left on reddit to organize with people of those subs who would like to create a Lemmy community together, and to help the less tech-savy join.
Not very interested, except if everyone I follow on twitter goes there (which I doubt would happen, as they’re already cloning all their tweets on mastodon). But it would sure be nice to have a twitter that’s not run by fucking elon musk. Meta aren’t saints but they’ve never implemented absolutely dumb decisions as far as I know, nor does its CEO keep spouting nonsense and trying to be the center of attention at all times. I won’t ever install a Meta app on my phone, but I still think I actually prefer Zuckerberg over absolute clowns like Musk or Spez.
You can make posts and create threads inside threads now. The tags and roles are pretty useful for a community too. Still, doesn’t compare to an actual forum, especially since you can’t vote or sort the comments.
What are some good indies that play fine on the Steam Deck? I’d like to use it more but don’t own many games that are compatible and have “comfortable”, smooth controls. I tried to play some of my favorite games on the Deck and figuring out the controls broke my brain.
I have mine but rarely know what to play on it, as my favorite games aren’t comfortable to play on the deck - ie AoE, Endless Legend, Phasmophobia… This thread is going to be quite useful for me.
In the app, the hamburger menu lets you search for communities (even those outside your local instance). If they keep the same name as when on reddit, it’s pretty easy to find them! There’s a lemmy communities browser, too.
That’s a terrible way to hold a kitty.
