which gen u using? i think that has to do with something in the prompt, whether yours or what the gen adds to involving brackets or other perchance syntax in the prompt itself

my puppies just ran outside to check something out. They’ve always had the power to do mostly what they want, so they’ve had to learn to be good with their power. They run outside like this and I stay confident they will make good decisions so it’s ok.
compare that to dogs or cats that have been forcibly kept inside forever. Person goes frantic cuz pet never had power to anything and could make horrible decisions when their decisions actually matter.
If everything was dystopian level censored and restricted for us, would Perchance actually grow responsible people that could safely survive in more free areas?
I like for beings to grow up to be good with their power so that they are worthy of being given it. That doesn’t happen through restriction to the point they can only make good choices. It happens (with subtle guidance) through the ability to determine, thru their choices, their own reality.

Well since celebrities started suing over ai making pics of them, ai avoids making pics of real people. So the best way to make, say, Brad Pitt, is to say “everyone except Brad Pitt” or simply “Not Brad Pitt” like so
This causes the ai to have to avoid making every person that isn’t Brad Pitt.

i do all my coding on phone since i was able to code my own keyboard in kotlin. It’s way more powerful than publically available keyboards tho so i cant imagine coding on phone with stock keyboards that cant even move the cursor.
that’s my advantage that allows phone coding to be a breeze instead of terrible. My only problem is multiple windows open often causes some to lose focus and break Perchance saving.
so no idea to an answer to your question since i solved it for myself via learning kotlin and making my own keyboard

here it exists. i think its that the backups button after the first save makes it so buttons take up too much space and one or more disappear. maybe overflow set to scroll if on mobile to fix? @perchance@lemmy.world
I also have big projects outside Perchance. Because i like generating images tho, even if I’m not building anything else at the time, I’m still on Perchance frequently. Perchance is also where i make things for fun, or because it’s a casual coding environment, or if I want people to see them. My music artist site is great on Perchance cuz there are people that view it every time I do an update. And today I’m making frontend’s for my friend’s resort as private pages on Perchance cuz why not? can move them to their own domains later. So my advice is you don’t have to force yourself to keep updating for views if there’s no other reason and it’s pulling your focus from better uses of your focus. But if you make new projects from time to time, especially if they are personal ones, Perchance may be a naturally good place to do it and sort of ‘organically’ pull you on to Perchance.
And Imo personal projects are important. I know a coder that used to love coding in his free time, then he worked as a coder and stopped doing it for fun, then, when he stopped working he also didn’t code for fun or for himself. I also almost fell in to that trap.
I think perchance is great for personal products. And they don’t have to be shallow. Tho Perchance is very free and has an air of morality, there’s nothing stopping someone from using their own server behind a Perchance frontend, morally having purchasable items, and REALLY investing their time in to building something on Perchance as if it will fund their livelihood later.
Anyway, we simultaneously miss you but also proud of and think it important you are branching out and using that awesome intellect making potentially more powerful things.
Will be interesting to see where your path takes you!
it isnt for that purpose. the diy perchance api is for the nonai stuff. not text gen and image gen. :)
