Talking about reload mechanics, I think Tarkov has a pretty cool one that wouldn’t work for a lot of FPS but is a nice touch for that game. Basically pressing reload takes the mag out, puts it back in your pocket with whatever ammo you had left in it so you can reuse it later, or you can double tap reload to drop the mag on the ground and reload just a little bit faster. I’ve got plenty of problems with Tarkov, but I did always find that to be a neat touch.

I would have thought you were joking but having bought one recently, the amount if wacky shit in that app, dailies included, is wild.

In two of the panels, you can see that the mom has bruises on her knuckles, potentially implying that she was abusing the kid. He later shoots her and is put to death for it. The fact that he’s thinking about what she told him even as he’s being executed seems to maybe be commentary on how abuse like that can completely fuck up a person, but honestly I don’t even really know what the message is supposed to be.

This is one of the reasons I liked Aggretsuko as much as I did. She was out of college and starting her career at a company which is still younger than me but at least its MORE relatable.

This post has reignited my interest in reading Fate, so I was looking into it, and while I may have though Astolfo was a girl I have come to the conclusion that they are hot not… I mean’t not.

Neco-Arc who is a character in a few Type Moon games in the Tsukihime universe.

Neco-Arc is a tiny gremlin catgirl version of one of the main cast Arcueid Brunestud who only shows up in what are essentially ‘hint’ scenes after the player has fucked up and needs to retry in order to progress the story.

IMO it would make sense if their professor knew Neco-Arc and wasn’t just accidentally using a meme character, because Tsukihime is an adult visiual novel (There’s really not a lot of sex in the main story, call it 30 minutes out of a 12 hour visual novel, and the remake removes it entirely if it’s not your thing) that came out in 2000.

If you’re at all into visual novels, I highly recommend it, the story is good (even the side characters stories) and its one of the few VNs where I finished it and didn’t despise the main character for being a complete idiot.

Oh and for what the joke is? Uhh she’s kinda a meme on her own, and an annoying moron.

Edit : Actually as another commenter pointed out, it’s a Neco-Arc version of Astolfo who is from the Fate VN series by the same devs. I haven’t read Fate yet (it is on my list though) so I can’t really say more about them.

Quit the game before I said goodbye to the deer (who is the first person if I remember correctly) because that game is too damn sad. Like it’s great, well written and I love the art style, but fuck man I’m playing games to have fun and that was not doing it for me. One of those games I’ll recommend but probably never finish.

I don’t know if this really fits for this community, but my friend group has been way into Mahjong recently. I decided to learn the basics on a whim and recently got a physical set of tiles even though I doubted anyone would really want to play. Well I decided to bring it to a newyears party to have just in case. We started about 1am, I passed out around 6am and when I woke up people were STILL (not went to bed and came back) playing at noon. They can be kinda picky about board games, but I guess it was close enough to something like poker for them to get hooked.

To be fair yes, monthly premiums for the plans I was referencing were between 1.7k and 2.3k, with them tending to be right above 1.8, so that definitely is a factor here

Everything you’re explaining about the deductible, premiums and out-of-pocket maximum is correct, the only thing I’ll say is the numbers you’re quoting seem pretty high. I work for a company that explains benefits to employees for different US companies, and the majority of plans have an OOP max of around 8k (for families ie employee, spouse and at lease 1 child) with everything being lower for less people. Most plans we work with have a family deductible of around 4k with everything being covered after 8k. Could be explained by working for a shittier company, or living in a higher cost of living area, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents that what you’re describing is definitely on the costlier end of the spectrum.

Whats crazy is Miside (Which I just bought because it’s apparently actually a good game) is like $12. That means you get all that futa femboy pounding for the low price of about 10 bucks
