exactly. i always thought shadowbanning was a thing people just said when mad until i noticed that on reddit.

this is happening on tiktok too. I got a violation warning for criticizing tiktok on tiktok. They said I was “bullying.” This is some social media shit that is happening across platforms. I know I am not making this up in my head.
me being banned from r/freeluigi twice for innocuous comments
no, mark rosario
don’t forget tiktok. they went down the shitter too. i only still use it because it has better editing on it than rednote… Then I go and post my video edited on tiktok to rednote.
only in the bedroom
yeah i always like the beginning of a new platform in the first few years where everyone is just having fun before the hoards come and commercialization happens.
hey so i started looking at a new place because I’m tired of reddit and the people on it… My upvotes began just disappearing. I hate to be that person, but I think I was shadowbanned. I didn’t even know that was a real thing until reddit. When the little reddit guy’s back is turned on your icon you’re in some kind of restricted mode. Anyway, i noticed my upvotes weren’t showing and someone else kinda fiddled with it with me to see what was going on. I don’t know if this is related to luigi but it’s some weird nonsense.
reddit reached enshitification several years ago.
did seeing this list make anyone else horny?
you need to read the history of disability rights, my friend.
it was a cruel joke to play on us all.
i want to ride his face until there are no eyebrows, you hear me?!
I am literally only attracted to this man because I think he did it and is a modern revolutionary. oh god. 🫦
the bullet proof vest just made him even sexier i’m sorry but…
This is something that seems to be happening with a lot of social media in america. they are really doubling down on censorship on the platforms (reddit, facebook, tiktok). I personally believe some kind of internal memo was sent by the trump administration that the public does not know about. It’s too big of a coincidence. This stuff is what is sending me to open source social media, and i believe that it will make much more of the public go that way too, eventually.
This seems ethically gray. essentially you pay a premium fee to be on the website. The fact that it’s a donation seems even more problematic because it does seem like it could be a legal issue for the defense fund. I hope these people contacted his lawyers about it. Additionally, people on r/brianthompsonmurder pointed out the fact that people with little to no money won’t have as much of a chance of being included (because they are picking and choosing who gets to say happy birthday??). “While donations increase the likelihood of your message being included, our goal is to feature as many messages as possible.” So people who can’t pay that much… what? This feels weird and immoral to me. Perhaps the donation should be suggested in lieu of the card, but not a premium tier??
And the fact that they are not being transparent with how they are getting site to luigi is really weird. Will he even ever see it? A guy who wants things to be transparent and is against classism, is anti-capitalist. It’s really off and doesn’t feel right.
