The subreddit mods for r/cremposting have already created !cremposting@lemmy.world as well. That’s an official refuge for the subreddit refugees. We also have a cremposting community here at SFFA.
I didn’t hate the relationship, I found it interesting and it was kinda neat seeing it from Jasnah’s side and her reasonings and such. I’m sad for her that it’s not going to work out, but like… it was never going to work out. Hoid has too much going on to settle down in a realistic way with another person.
And yeah the memory confirmation was great. Hoid being terrified is GREAT tension in the scene and for the book.
Yeah, getting that confirmation was really nice. It’s terrifying me though to see
how terrified Hoid is. Like, he’s running scared and THAT scares me. It was also nice seeing Jasnah and how she genuinely wants a relationship with him, but it was bittersweet seeing her realize it’s just not going to happen how she would want it to.
I’m an admin from https://sffa.community
We did notice a large amount of bot sign-ups early on. We already ha email verification on and they never made it past that stage.
We have since turned on CAPTCHA and now they aren’t signing up any longer.
We’ve purged the bot accounts from our database.
We are working on generating organic content but we’ve only been open for a couple weeks so I just ask that other instances bear with us. We’ve a very niche community of sci-fi and fantasy geeks. We’d love to be federated again.
yay! welcome on in :D
welcome on in! :D
On our instance we have !cosmere@sffa.community and !brandonsanderson@sffa.community along with some other niche ones. Still working on generating content since we’re so new.
Our entire instance is dedicated to Sci-Fi and Fantasy media.
welcome Xavier, nice to see you made it :)
this is actually our book club book right now! I haven’t had a chance to start it but I did get it.
I really enjoyed Men at Arms and Jingo and Night Watch were also good. Basically I love the Watch subseries.
I’m actually not sure we have any information on this. A feruchemist sort of requires a metalmind, and I am not entirely sure they can substitute other Investiture as a metalmind or not. This is a really interesting question and perhaps it should be brought up to Brandon at the next spoiler stream or livestream Q&A.
