I have two American friends who have moved to the Netherlands, and one of them is in a relationship with a Dutch acquaintance. :)
I was supposed to visit Rotterdam in 2020, but we know why that didn’t pan out. Same in 2021.
Outside of my own city, I would have to say central New Hampshire is a hot spot for me. It might be my nostalgia, as friends and I made an annual ski pilgimage to North Conway for a decade. Every fall now I take a drive up that way before the leaf peepers flock in, enjoy some local beer, stop at my favorite general store, drive the Kanc.
^ This. :D
I really don’t, anymore.
Maybe I’ll get hints of something from my contacts or my partner, but that’s indirect.
Natural gas here, because the city has an extensive network. Previously, living with my parents a city away, the condo had oil heat.
A year and a half ago I had to replace my cast-iron boiler and (leaking) hot water heater, and so I took advantage of financing to replace them with a gas-powered tankless combo.
To other Americans, I identify as a New Englander or a Masshole. :)
To the outside world, I’ll probably say I’m from Boston first (I’m not, but it’s the closest big city the outside world might recognize) before saying I’m American.
I see the build numbers now!
What an adorable snowball!
Reminds me of our Palo Alto Panorama server. Commit jumps up to 99% after 30 seconds and sits there for the next 4-6 minutes, sometimes more.
But their constituents corporate donors would not profit as much. Won’t someone think about my profits? 🙃
Bring back what? It’s still around. I use Matrix channels for some topics that are bridged from IRC.
Same here. I only got my 14 because the battery on my 12 was starting to fade fast shortly before a trip to Europe, and the 14 is still holding up well.
And mine. Came to the replies to post it then found this thread.
Just what I always wanted, almost one whole gumball.
