  • There’s often a section in the build guide for hardcore. For example, I’m following the shadow minion necro guide and it has a section for hardcore adjustments. There’s also a link in that section for a general hardcore guide.

Also, good luck! I think I would be on about my 15th character by now if I’d gone hardcore.

  • Ppl think 2 is the worst? Huh, I wasn’t aware of that.

Thing is, I don’t really remember much about 3. I played the first one through twice and the second one I played through 3 times and all the dlc. By the time I got around to the third game I think I’d just kinda had enough of tomb raider and rushed through it and never replayed it.

I think I might actually go back and play the third instalment again now that it’s been a while since I last played it.

  • I played the trilogy a couple of years ago. I’m a big fan of the original games and was mostly happy with the reboot.

For me the second instalment was the best of the reboot (rise of the tomb raider). The stealth is improved making it actually viable to clear whole areas using just stealth. I also loved the environments of the second one.

Overall I really enjoyed the 3 games but the balance between combat and puzzle solving was too far towards combat to make them feel truly like tomb raider games. The puzzle solving should have been a bit harder as well to truly make them feel like tomb raider games.

  • After doing some searching around it seems that unfortunately the ph level milestone is bugged.

The milestone and wonders page is actually tracking the highest ph instead of the lowest ph. I can confirm this with my own experience, my lowest ph was 3.6, I scanned another animal and got a message saying new record low but the ph level went UP to 4.2. I then scanned another animal and got the message again saying new record low and the ph level went up again to 4.3.

The only way to get this milestone done at the moment is to make sure that the very first animal you scan on a toxic planet has a ph below 2.5, otherwise you’re screwed. Hopefully they’ll patch this at some point.

I’ve seen ppl encountering this bug on xbox, PlayStation and PC, don’t know about switch but I would assume they have the bug too. Apparently if you’re on PC you can use a save editor to reset the wonder and then go to a planet where you know there is an animal with a ph below 2.5 and scan it first. Not tried that myself as I’m on Xbox.
