It’s the team that made Wolfenstein so I’d say there’s a good chance of it. They’re very good at Nazi punching games.
Universal Yums is the one I’d recommend.
Holy shit. I used to work for this company. The CEO is the definition of Florida Man and treats his employees like shit. I guarantee he got high and put this together himself. Everyone should avoid giving them money (their competitors are better anyway).
I really hope this happens. In addition to the safety improvements, it could mean the Amtrak becomes viable for long distance travel. My trip from Denver to Seattle was scheduled for 3 days but ended up taking 5. Some of it was caused by snow on the tracks, but the majority of the delays were from the BNSF and UP trains forcing the passenger trains to stop until they passed. Amtrak doesn’t own the rails so they don’t get priority. Just from Sacramento to Seattle there were two to three stops of 1-2 hours each.
It’s a shame too because the views in some areas were incredible and everything else about traveling by train is a much better experience than flying.
Mine is Browns @ Broncos in 2018. It was Baker Mayfield’s first year as a starter and the Browns were still in the playoff hunt in December for the first time in ages. The Browns also hadn’t won in Denver in 30 years. There was a ton of excitement around the team and Browns fans took over the stadium. It came down to a sack on 4th down and when the Browns won the stadium went nuts. I’ll never forget that one.
In case anyone forgot: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=4KxRp8jeliQ (I know they fixed it, but that video will never fail to make me laugh)
I’ve had really good experiences with PS5 DualSense controllers. They connect via Bluetooth or USB-C and have official support for the Linux kernel. The touchpad also works as a mouse out of the box which is really convenient.
The Wizard of the Crow is a book I picked up randomly at a used bookstore and it ended up being an all time favorite. It gets into some pretty heavy topics but some well placed humor keeps it from being overwhelming.
Still using a 14 year old Panasonic plasma TV in the living room and I dread the day that I have to replace it.
That’s still the previous version of SteamOS though. The Arch based one that’s on the Steam Deck still hasn’t been released for everyone to use.
I run it locally for calendar and storage without any issues. Server is a 10 year old Mac Mini running Open Media Vault and I’m using the Nextcloud all-in-one docker image with Portainer.
It can take a bit of work to get set up, but I’ve found the maintenance to be pretty easy.
I think it depends on what you’re looking for. Arkham asylum and Arkham city are definitely the best ones but I’ve always liked the more linear story/gameplay of Arkham Asylum more. They’re both great though.
I’d love to see remakes of the original Phantasy Star series. I enjoy PSO, but it’s just not the same.
That’s how emudeck works too so it seems like they’re mostly the same. I did see that retro deck is working on getting online gaming working which would definitely get me to switch.
The Tomb Raider 2013 reboot is great and works really well on the Deck.
It doesn’t currently require the command line though. You can get it as a flatpak using the Discover app in desktop mode. Most people would be using EmuDeck anyway which automates that.
They plan on starting to make their own laptops but there aren’t many details available. https://www.tomshardware.com/news/system76-shows-off-first-images-of-its-virgo-linux-laptop-design
