I pirate tv shows and movies. They don’t have embedded subtitles for when someone starts speaking another language anymore. If I don’t turn on subtitles I may be watching something and suddenly realize, “These mofos have been speaking Mexican for the last three minutes!”
I can tell you a down side is that your best bet at good customer service is through social media channels. My account was in a “stuck” condition that I only found out about when a co-worker tried calling me. If you called once it would give an error and not even go to voicemail. If you called my number a second time it would probably go through. I couldn’t even get on the app for chat or call 611. It would just tell me my call couldn’t be completed and I should call 611. The only solution was to get mintmobileAlex involved on the Mint subreddit. Now if you don’t use Facebook and migrate from Reddit to Lemmy, or some other federated group, where does that leave you?
I’m on Android 12 using Gerboa most of the time, but I just tried fmhy.ml through Firefox as a PWA. It seems that when I am on the web application it updates as soon as my instance pulls in new comments. So the feed will start flying by until finished updating.
Better than another church billboard I saw. It said “Meet Jesus.” I imagine walking through the doors and Charles Bronson puts a gun to your head. “Are you ready to meet Jesus, punk?”
Power lines are more valuable to me, as another person who works, than a fast food burger. My money will go towards an electric bill before I start paying $30 for two trash meals.
