This is Windows 10. I’ve tried Ubuntu and Arch on the same computer, and they were both faster.

thanks! it’s a Corsair deskmat
I’m in the same spot. Ended up just buying a cheap SSD and dual booting with windows 10. It’s definitely not as convenient as it could be, but it works perfectly.
I might just end up doing this, lol. I’ve switched to Ortho before, so it’ll just be the split I’m getting used to. Thanks!
At least in my experience Nvidia GPUs will stubbornly tolerate Linux too, but unless you really need one for some reason, save yourself the trouble.
Theming + support for more instances, this is gonna make Liftoff my go-to app. Thanks!
Probably too close to the bed. The gap between your nozzle and your printing surface isn’t big enough, so some of the filament isn’t able to escape and builds up in blobs. Check if the patters’s any worse/more noticeable towards the middle.
I got a laptop with windows 11 pre-installed. Everything I wanted to change was either impossible or required a bullshit workaround. Installed Linux to save me the trouble.
I’ve had trouble logging in on liftoff, it doesn’t recognize any of the instances I have accounts on.
I’m fine with this, honestly. I’d prefer more devs do this instead of pushing back releases at the last minute or forcing their teams to crunch.
