This hits home for me! I fondly remember eating roach filled ice cream sprinkled with spore, during the Sunday morning walks with my father. Every week during the summer, we used to make a lengthy trip around the complex. From the blast doors, flexible housings, all the way to the emergency cooling water storage. Now I know that the reason for those existing, was the failure of the algae dispenser in our underground. Still, I’m glad that my father found energy to give me attention and sense of enjoying little things in those trying times. Bummer about your ice cream parlor man, have you talked to the manager?

If the void wanted us to use the third hand for anything other than signaling, it would corrupt us that way. I say we’re lucky enough and I’m grateful the system is as civilized as it is.
