I’m not a big fan of Excelsior, but it’s the B+M base that I started with. It does the job, but it just takes me a little longer to dial in.
This was a nice range of Bay Rum scents to get the day going.

Today’s BVWSC shave was with the selection of Old Strathcona. It’s a unique take on a barbershop/fougère scent with rosewood substituting for lavender and the addition of aromatic tree moss and earthy mushroom absolute.
The feedback of the Rocca was satisfying, and almost as good as a GEM razor. Druantia and Fougère Gothique complemented the shave with their mushroom accords.

Tea was one of the many commodities traded along the Silk Routes between the East and the West. Green tea, jasmine, and tonka bean in combination with the royal aroma of sweet honey, floral marigolds, and fragrant jasmine were an excellent pairing.

Sidama and Eau Intense Vetiver did not pair as well as I had hoped. I should have gone with Rumble.

Today’s shave was inspired by @djundjila@sub.wetshaving.social . He recently combined Koké with Cerberus and the scent combination seemed intriguing. I still haven’t quite nailed down the scent of Koké, but it does have a similar vibe to Cerberus.
