  • iirc Brave has a terrible policy Not good More like … a honeypot

At least Ecosia supposedly plants lots of trees (which we desperately need)

We need like a quadrillion NET more trees than we have right now

it’s not just carbon sinks it’s also water vapor (evapotranspiration) it either forms clouds that rain (if lots of trees) or it just makes the atmosphere hotter

the internet has a big physical footprint

    i don’t think tokens help.

  • lol i know

thank you for the kind reply

aaannnd art is in the eye of the beholder so idk not necessarily for the OP needing to read it

moreso for those who (as w many of us) hv poor/low sense of self-value/self-resilience

i just hear that a lot from tech nerds “my body is stupid/irrational” etc

and it’s like “or maybe we need better models to listen to & make sense of it”

  • How Not To Die by Michael Greger

    see also: anti-flammatory diet

(drink 0.75 gal to 1 gallon of h2o daily)

(eliminate flour) ((pizza, bread, bagels, pasta, crackers, etc))

    Start there

    And walk vs driving

    And do yoga

and eat a head of spinach, daily. …

You’ll be amazed. (at how your body TRANSFORMz0rz :-o GO POWER RANGERZZZZZZS )

(leave your phone at a friend’s house build a better env )

72 hours give it 3 days of that

    You will be amazed

    at how your OWN body

can trans form its nervous sensory stimuli & feelings

(start drinking water the moment u wake up keep it in the bathroom next to toilet or en route

(where it wont spill if you’re half-asleep and bump it )

  • What a terribly reductionist POV.

    A few antidotes:

study and learn Somatic Experiencing. (Where in your body do you feel a given emotion ? Where is tension felt? where is relaxation felt? where is sadness felt? )

study some real yoga (not stretching

but actual yoga ie meditation breath-work soma practices )

speaking as a man who was born with and still has a penis and, since puberty, plenty of healthy testosterone :

There’s enough of ‘jokingly’ blaming the people whom I adore as equals (women) for things gone wrong, thanks.

How about, “Empire, you dumb dick” (for building concrete heat-concentrating-cities, among other things)

    orrr there’s always the sex-neutral “Asshole” !

  • My response to those sorts of ridiculous claims is, •Huh. I guess you haven’t heard of “intersex”. What do you call a human baby who was biologically born with bits of both??

That usually stumps them for a bit. Data-does-not-compute. Oe they ignore it and go back to their original point. … at which pt i have to hold empathy-space & validation (≠ does not equate with agreement/condoning, see footnote [1])… … and then — if and only if they seem open — ask them about if they’re aware that some human babies — to be clear, not trans folx in most case (well except by way of uninformed/nonconsent at birth, ugh) — but some human babies are born intersex.

usually tho i just leave it and no pt in doing so online usually

[1] hold empathy-space & validation does not equal & does not equate with agreement/condoning btw, as any good de-escalation specialist (like an fbi hostage negotiator or a therapist or life-coach) can tell explain better than i can rn.

TIL Toast is carcinogenic and so is bread in general (but toast more so) and sugar and alcohol and cooked meat (unless it was cooked by boiling in water and not any other method)

TLDR eat raw or unadulterated carrots, yams, beets, beet-greens spinach broccoli LOTS of raw broccoli (stops cancer!) and raw garlic also

    Nothing processed!

    swiss chard rainbow chard

NB drink 0.5 - 1.0 gallons water daily (2-4 Liters)

NB gut microbes dictate our brain cravings for food =>

    3 days without X (eg sugar/baked flour)

    no more craving X

    (‘cause those bacteria = gone)
