Thankfully I’ve never had anyone tell me this, but if they did, I’d probably point out that I’ve been in the furry fandom longer than they’ve been alive, and I’m not going anywhere!

Hard to say, but I think a big influence was “The Rescuers” movie that came out in 1977, I was pretty into it as a kid. Essentially I’ve been a furry for as long as I’ve been alive, I just didn’t have a word for it until I found the fandom.

Oh nice, I didn’t know you were planning to self-host. It’s been ages since I did that, but we have FTTH and two static IPs, so… it’s really tempting to put something together, even if it’s just a static web server. It’s been too long.

I enjoy playing with ChatGPT a lot, but I would not trust it to provide me accurate information, it’s really catastrophically bad at that. I mean, yes, sometimes it’s right! But a lot of the times it just picks words that sound plausible and work well together. For anything where I want to get some facts, I use various search engines.
