I gave it a look because it’s been in the news a bit and friends gave it the thumbs up. It’s a bit heavy, but not overwhelmingly so, and I enjoyed it. I’m not sure I’d put it up there as a great bit of TV, but certainly the message about what kids have to go through these days is interesting.

    I get what you mean about loose ends, but the uncertainty of it all definitely added to the realism. We get hints as to why Jamie did it; what caused him to become radicalised in the way he did and a rough idea of his feelings. But never a direct confession from him besides the change of plea. We never know how things turn out for the grieving schoolkids or family. I kinda like that - it’s left to the viewer’s imagination and isn’t neatly wrapped up because things in real life rarely are.

    And yes I loved how each episode was from a different perspective.
