For the last few months our team has been working on an entirely automated AI-powered news site. I am excited to announce that v1.0 is finally being released. This version includes full coverage with every article generated from 2 left leaning, 2 right leaning, and 2 neutral sources. We have also added an anonymous commenting system for people to share their opinions freely. Our servers are now running 24/7 so that new articles appear as they happen!     This is very dangerous. I’d be mad at you posting it as a blatant advert if it wasn’t for the fact that there might be a chance we could convince you to stop.

    If it isn’t satire, then you should know that ChatGPT is a bullshitting machine. It has no motivation to get things correct, only things that look convincing. Likewise, it has no motivation to ignore biases, and will include that of its training data.

    If it is satire, then having unlabeled and convincing satire in an era of mass misinformation is problematic. People can and will take what is written here at face value, and share it to their radicalised circles.
