Protip: boil your broccoli in salted water. As long as you don’t boil it to snot it’ll be just as nutritious but taste a fair bit better. Poke it with a fork regularly to check done-ness. Should take around 6 minutes or so.

What in my comment suggested I boil broccoli? Or that I need tips?

No fuck you I AM starting a cooking blog on your comment. You can save the leftovers from broccoli and cauliflower, stems and leaves, and make a lovely pesto. Simply cook with a bunch of garlic in a small amount of salted water. Add plenty of oil, and blend to a paste using an immersion blender. Tastes great on fusilli!
