Yes, and that would’ve been a far more reasonable answer than what he gave. If he had just said “I think spaceships are cool and would like to hang out with the crew of a cool spaceship”, Kirk wouldn’t have been able to really make an argument. It’s an illogical answer, sure… But not a wrong one.
God collects starships like my kid collects dinosaur models.
Maybe we should get God in touch with Eaglemoss.
That seems a safer option.
God why don’t you just snap your fingers and make yourself a starship then?
Not authentic then, like why a replica of a classic car isn’t valued as much as an original one even if you built it to the exact same design schematics.
Or why my 3d printed Ford facsimile truck parts are… better… quality than OEM. Shit, wait.
You like the food that comes out of the replicator just as much as home-cooked meals, don’t you?
Why do you have to buy toilet paper? Can’t you make your own from leaves and newspaper? Honestly some people.
Idk why I have no memory of this. Which movie is this from?
Forget
Some people claim there’s a movie between Star Trek IV and Star Trek VI, but I struggle to recall too.
Mr. Kirk, starships are cool.
I thought we all agreed this movie never happened?
