Summary

Emily Hernandez, a Trump-pardoned Jan. 6 Capitol rioter, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for a 2022 drunk driving crash that killed Victoria Wilson and seriously injured her husband in Missouri.

Hernandez was driving on the wrong side of the highway at twice the legal alcohol limit.

She had previously served 45 days for stealing part of Nancy Pelosi’s office sign.

Her case adds to concerns over Trump’s pardons, as other pardoned rioters have faced new legal troubles.

This is what, the third one let out in the past week and a half who has done something illegal and got caught or killed?

I thought the same thing, but he just was never released in the first place. And good. Let him rot.

Edit: Unfortunately, I was wrong. He’s on the lam.

I think so. At least the third one I heard about. One was arrested on gun charges? The other was shot during a traffic stop. And now this.

Trump is obviously not sending his best.

          From your article:

Houston criminal court records show that case was unresolved when Taake – out on $20,000 bail – participated in the attack on the US Capitol. According to the Chronicle, local prosecutors confirmed Friday that Taake was now considered a wanted fugitive in connection with the pending charge of solicitation of a minor. But Houston jail records showed he was not in custody as of three days later.

Attempts to contact Taake were not immediately successful. And his attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

So I guess he did get out? And now he’s a fugitive… Why didn’t they check this shit before they let him out?

          Edit: clarity.

Remember when Trump signed and executive order demanding all his pardons be processed immediately? He really leaned on them, and some of the people released came back to protest for the rest to be released faster

Trump just decided he didn’t have time to look at them individually, so he let them all out… Then doubled down and pressured them to do without the normal process

His whole project 2025 playbook is based around fear and confusion to gain dictatorial power, at least he’s still planning to crater the global economy this week…

Hmmm so you’re saying that if this person was sentenced to more than 45 days, say the minimum of 5 years for Treason, that other person would still be alive?

I see where you’re going with this but the fact is this crash occurred immediately before her sentencing for the riot.

No kidding fuck that guy. He’s responsible for the mess we’re in which means so is Biden for appointing him. Imagine after Trump treated the DOJ like his personal lawyers for four years, that old fucker was like let’s bring back decorum, I’ll appoint a Republican so nobody can accuse me of not upholding political norms.
