I’m Ron Burgundy?
I love lamp?
Brick, do you really love lamp?
That would be either a fact or a falsehood, not an opinion
I know a couple psychiatrists who would love to chime in. Would you like a headache?
How do you think Tucker Carlson avoided getting sued off the air for as long as he did?
Yes?
I doubt that very much?
I mean, if you end it with a question mark even a statement can become a question?
Definitely?
There’s no question about it.
is language malleable?
Would it be unpopular for me to express that my opinion is that this isn’t really correct?
Maybe?
No?
Hmm, I think being able to turn any statement into a question is a necessary feature of language. For anything that could hypothetocally be true, you want to be able to inqiire about it.
Don’t you agree that the statement this “question” is rhetorically making is false?
“Is a question?” is a question?
Don’t you think that the sentence “Is ‘Is a question?’ a question?” makes more sense than “‘Is a question?’ is a question?”?
I don’t know. Can you use language to say and or imply anything you want? Yes, yes you can.
