    Gotta admit, I’m still not sure how 196 differs from c/furry_irl over there, so far my impression is that it’s been pretty much the same content (cross-posted from furry_IRL, in fact).

    am i missing something?

      furry_irl’s memes are specifically furry fandom targeted, whereas this 196 community accepts more general memes that are tangentially furry related, in additon to furry targeted memes like furry_irl’s.

      Examples of that include:

      • Memes featuring animal characters
      • Memes featuring anime characterswith animal features
      • Memes featuring animals in general

      It’s similar to furry_irl but the topic is more broad.
