I forgot the name of the comic, but I remember my super religious aunt giving me a copy of this christian comic that was about D&D being evil and featured a character that killed herself because her d&d character died, which led to one of the other kids joining a “satanic cult.” She gave it to me after I had brought my rule books and a module over for thanksgiving to play with my cousins.
It’s one of those things that so cringe it’s funny, but she was hella serious about it.

Block me then. I’m gonna keep calling out cm002 out on his trash wherever I run into it. All he does is lower the quality of content posted on Lemmy every single day.
He’s hardly lowered the quality with this post, it’s both fun, and a true satirical look of our past. If you can’t see it for that, then maybe it’s time to look inwards and loosen up.
This specific post is whatever. It’s fine. It’s true, but it’s been beaten to death. It’s more the frequency at which he posts and the general low quality of the shit he posts that bothers me so much.
Then maybe check your own lemme usage? Sounds very much like a personal problem. Also if it’s not about this post in particular then why say anything at all?
I have a personal hatred of cm002 and users like him. People that post way too much and most of it is garbage. He’s just the most egregious one on Lemmy that I have seen so far.
Then grow up and block him.
