It seems lemmy.ml doesn't federate with fedia.io

I’m not sure how you do it on Lemmy, but on Kbin, most of my articles use the “Add new thread” page. I can upload a 5MB thumbnail along with it. But, it’s also possible to just embed an image on Kbin with a specially formatted tag…sometimes. This qualifies for #airswimming tag, but I haven’t figured out how Lemmy users can post new things with the tags.
