Tinnitus is like a telemarketer, it just won’t stop ringing.

    Very cute animation!

Also, we suffer together. Mine is very random, too. When it gets really bad, I get vertigo.

My dumb younger butt should have worn earplugs to the 60+ metal shows I went to. Now I always wear nice earplugs to shows.

Thank you! So sorry you’re going through it too, that sounds awful. Wishing you well for future events now that you’ve got some protection going, at least it can be kept in check so you can keep enjoying your time out there.

        Thank you muchly! <3

I just reread your comment… I hope your ear infection goes away quickly D: I assume you went and got drops for it?

One day my partner woke up crying… I asked what was wrong and it sounded to them like they were hearing everything from wayyy down a tunnel and it hurt IMMENSELY. I had to work so they had to drive alone to the doctor… double ear infection. I’ve never heard of that happening! Drops cleared it up relatively quickly, but any ear infection is so horrible.

Sending hugz and hope you’re better ASAP!

Thanks! I think it’s on it’s way out, I never had one before so I thought I was slowly losing my hearing or had a blockage at first, I was kinda freaking out before I went to urgent care a few weeks ago. I didn’t think it was an infection because I had no pain or apparent inflammation, but the doc there put me on a couple weeks of meds and mentioned how fluid can build up behind the ear drum and cause all those problems despite that.

So basically I think it’s persistent but hasn’t been severe (probably because of the meds) and it does seem like it’s clearing up, but hearing my own voice still seems a little funny. As long as I’m not losing my hearing and can keep listening to music I’ll be okay though.

Oooo I hate hearing my own voice through my head! I’ve luckily never had an ear infection, so hopefully I continue that streak. I’m glad you didn’t have any pain, at least. But having tinnitus eeeeeeeeee sucks! If nothing else, at least it inspired a cure animation!

I’m happy to hear it’s on its way out. :3
