If it isn’t limited to, like, real animals, I’d want a faerie dragon from D&D.
I was going to go with a helper monkey but I think faerie dragon is the best choice. Maybe a pseudodragon would be a good choice. An imp would be nice to freak people out as well as well as they can turn invisible.
