The moment of vulnerability on this page is something special, I think, because it’s something that just about everybody can relate to. Other characters, like, I don’t know, Walter White (Breaking Bad) or Blitzø (Helluva Boss), struggle a lot, too, but it’s always far more complex and specific than simply missing a friend. It’s these short, sweet moments, like the “I missed you” on this page, that add so much to a character.

Agreed, I love all the little touches that the artist inevitably adds when they make it their own. Gives the meme a whole new level of personality.
